Is Post-Baby Weight OK!?

kate-with-william--and-george

ok-magazine-kateThe Duchess gave birth just three days ago to our new future King who has just been named as George Alexander Louis. She stepped out in public on Tuesday and showed off her post-baby bump to the world and was glowing with baby joy! She may have had a hairdresser on hand before hand, but when you’re about to face the public with the new future King in your arms, the Prince by your side and paparazzi’s from all the over the world taking that ultimate baby front page baby shot, it’s understandable! The last thing that people have thought about, especially the Duchess is losing that baby weight; not that she needs to.

One of the biggest selling magazines OK! published on the front cover of their magazine just one day after Prince George was born, was Kate Middleton’s fitness regime to get rid of that excess baby weight. This story has of course caused a huge backlash from the public and not just from the mums. With Kate Middleton being pretty normal and one of us, we’re sure that she hasn’t given consent for this or given it a second thought.

People are a lot more body conscious these days and it’s no surprise when popular magazine are publishing stories about the latest diets and how to look like your favourite celebrity. The media is one of the biggest influencers for weight loss, especially in young girls and not necessarily in a healthy way. The Ladies Workout Express is passionate about losing weight the healthy way and keeping our members motivated, and confident in themselves; having ladies only gym helps to achieve this.

kate-with-william--and-georgeWe have a team of professional fitness trainers who will be on hand to help you achieve your goals in a healthy way. No one loses weight overnight and being a size zero doesn’t always mean that you’re healthy. You’ll lose weight quicker when you have body confidence and are doing it in the healthy way. Those who lose weight on crash diets can put it back on twice as quickly and twice as much.

Beach Body Confidence

Ladies Gym

One of the biggest struggles for women today is being confident in the way they look and feel. With the tabloids constantly publishing snap shots of celebrities on the beach; some looking radiant and healthy, whilst others looking more frail. It can sometimes be seen as a confidence breaker.
Joining a gym for the first time can be nerve racking and it can take a couple of months for you to feel comfortable. There are so many gyms out there without a woman’s only zone and from past experience, there is nothing worse than seeing men hog all the weights, competing about being the best; or a handful of females who work out in tiny tops in front of the mirror. It’s enough to put anyone off, but here at the Ladies Workout Express club in Swinton, we have one strict policy…and that’s women only; no men allowed!
Being a women’s only gym gives us such pride in watching our members develop in both confidence and physique. We have female members of all ages, shapes and sizes, and everyone is welcome. The Ladies Workout Express in Swinton has developed a social community, where all of our members have become friends and they can get quite excited when a newbie joins! Our gym structure is different to that of a normal gym. We don’t have the standard cardio machines that you see in your everyday gym, we have specialised circuit equipment that has been designed specifically for women. Our machines are all simple to use and they provide both strength training, and aerobic exercise.
So forget about those celebrity magazines publishing bikini snap shots of women on the beaches; it’s all about you! It’s rare to find a women’s only gym these days, so why not come to the Ladies Workout Express in Swinton and take a look around?
